The World Beyond. History is not mere history.
In a time where the pursuit of wisdom was among the highest rank of importance and the questioning of ideas of mainstream beliefs, was enough to be killed for. That was the 4th Century Ancient Greece, the time in this world that Plato; one of the greatest ancient Greece philosopher’s was born. Plato was one of Socrates students, who was among the greatest philosophers, who questioned preconceived ideas. Plato witnessed many devastating human loses due to the Peloponnesian war between Athens and Sparta, in his youth. As Plato witnessed the torture and loss of lives through brutality of fellow worldly men, he thought there had to be a better way to live. He thought of a time when euphoria and an imaginary perfect world would exist. He also believed that children should only be allowed to hear heroic uplifting tails, influencing heroism throughout the world.
One of Plato’s greatest works was ‘The Allegory Of The Cave’, the fictional dialogue illustrates "our nature in its education and want of education". It goes like this . . .
Then one day, a prisoner is released. He is blinded by the light outside the cave and astonished to see a completely new reality of people, animals, and objects casting these shadows into the cave.
H e scurries back to tell the prisoners the news, but to his dismay, the prisoners do not believe his fantastic stories of the world outside of the cave. For the shadows on the wall are the only reality the prisoners have ever known, and therefore, to them, that is all that will ever exist.’

This metaphor or illustration used by Plato shows us how true reality is not always what it seems to be on the surface. It illustrates open-mindedness and the power of possibility.
I believe it is also a metaphor for knowledge and ignorance. That we should cause our minds to move up to a higher level of consciousness. To me the metaphor of the person leaving the cave, illustrates that the person has enetred a world of ideal forms, and has no need of the physical body . . . maybe this is an anology of the next world? How the good deeds and things we do in this world are not seen, but when we die, all of these quaties and deeds will combine into what our state of being will be, what plato describes as ‘ the man be blinded by the light outside the cave and astonished to see a completely new reality of people, animals and objects casting these shadows into the cave’.
Could in actual fact, this metaphor illustrate the relationship between our souls and our physical beings. The soul being ‘the focal point for love and compassion, for faith and courage, and for other such "human" qualities that cannot be explained solely by thinking of a human being as an animal or as a sophisticated organic machine.’
I believe when the human body dies, the soul which endures everlastingly is separated and freed from the physical body and this physical earthly world. I have faith that after the separation of our physical body and souls (once we die), the soul begins its progress through the spiritual world. These ideas are that of the Baha’i Faith, Which was founded in the 19th century. Which understands the spiritual world ‘to be a timeless and placeless extension of our own universe--and not some physically remote or removed place.’Once we enter the next life after we die, our beings our in a state of indescribable joy.
Bahá'u'lláh the founder of the Baha’i faith likened death to the process of birth. He explains:
"The world beyond is as different from this world as this world is different from that of the child while still in the womb of the mother. As the womb constitutes an important place ofr a person's initial physical development, the physical world provides the matrix for the development of the individual soul."
So basically life is a sort of a workshop, where we can work on and perfect our qualities, which will be needed in the next life. I don’t believe there is a heaven or hell, just merely a state of nearness to god, and hell is remoteness from God.
"The nature of the soul after death can never be described! It shall attain a station such as no pen can depict, or tongue can describe," Bahá'u'lláh writes. The exact nature of the afterlife remains a mystery. But if we did know exactly what is in store for us once we do die, there would be no use in personal investigation of truth, or developing and perfecting deeds to create unity, as we would be not be doing this out of the interest of our hearts, to bring peace on earth and live in unity. No?

Thomas Edison, A Legend Who Urged For Answers In This World.
"The doctor of the future will give no medicine,
but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame,
in a proper diet,
and in the cause and prevention of disease."

Listening To The Greatest Invention That Has Ever Existed In This World.
Question. How often do you blindly consume pharmaceutical products without a second thought?
This does not seem so abnormal does it? This is a common happening.
We have followed the downward spiral of 'not undergoing investigation ourselves' and blindly putting our whole trust in our medical doctors, with no doubt in mind.
In actual fact Misuse and reactions of medicine blindly prescribed (without investigation) is the leading cause of death throughout this whole world. Is this something that is not that big of an issue, 'oh well!, thats the risk of medicine', No! throughout the years, investigation of prescriptions given has been thought out less and less, this is why it is the leading cause of death. As soon as someone is given the title of 'Medical doctor', patients do not think twice or question what medicine they are actually consuming and how this would affect their body in the long run.
We need to start investigating for ourselves and taking responsibility for our own health in order to enhance our well being, instead of placing the whole of our trust into the medical doctor’s hands. We seriously need to think twice, because ultimately in the end, it is how we have treated our own body. You can decide what you want the destiny of your health to be, to blindly follow what 'seems' to be our health savior, the same health savior that is just so apparently the leading cause of death in this world, due to their misuse; Or you could trust your body and its innate being.
We are present in our own physical being, not doctors. Medicine is not always the answer; i am not creating hate and animosity towards them but i feel like we need to be more responsible for the health of our own bodies. Since health ultimately affects our spirit and mind, how can we not know what our body needs and urges for it to become healthier, and in better spirits.
After attending lectures by Bruce Lipton, i have full belief that the body is influenced so much more than we know it by external factors and how we were brought up, than by DNA and genes.
'Because behavior is created through the interaction of proteins with their complementary signals, there are really only two sources of dis-ease: either the proteins are defective or the signals are distorted.'
-Bruce Lipton
Everything is not due to our genetic DNA, but the world seems to use that as the dominant reason of any major health problems, leaving their fate to that conclusion, that they can't do anything about it, because it is simply their genetic DNA, inheritance and products from their maternal and paternal beings (genomes)
Here is a few stats. from ' The British Medical Journal' :
• Only 50% of medical interventions have valid basis
• Only 5% percent of publish papers reach minimum standards of scientific soundness and clinical relevance,
• In most medical journals the figure is less than 1%
• Only 6%of drug advertising material is supported by evidence
So basically public literature is not as trustworthy as you thought it was, right? the answer is YES.
These truths are not so main stream, no? This is what I mean by it is crucial to investigate the cause and reason for health problems by listening to our body and not denying it, there is always a valid reason. Our body is the smartest thing in this world, we shouldn't forget that. Next time you are sick, try to think about why your body is causing these symptoms, what is the cause? Are these symptoms the last of our problems or in actual fact a wakeup call to make us think twice about how we are treating our body’s health.
And Soo It Begins . . .
So i decided to start a blog, i'm not a big fan of writing on and on about stuff that people don't even give a dam about but i decided this would be a good release, now and then. We all need to do something to survive internally.
I have a love for the idea of science and spirituality, in integration. I'm studying chiropractic, it really fascinates me, the philosophy and art and the whole sphere of it. I believe there is alot of spiritual concepts that relate to the true understanding of science and health, and how these two go hand in hand. By understanding science and gaining more knowledge on these aspects, we begin to learn more about ourselves as a whole, as a force in this earthly world, and as something other than just another living human being. A Mere understanding of the importance of us being here, right now.
I believe science has a prominent aspect in getting in touch with our spirit, our minds and souls. And science is not just merely factual or scientific, it requires integration of links with ideas on 'Why we are here on this earthly plane' and 'what our purpose is in this physical world'
So... As time goes by, and as everything progresses and somethings in this world morally hit-a-low, i will jot down my ideas on some things that get me excited.
